About the Book

Book 22 in Secrets from Grandma’s Attic

When Amy Allen-Anderson’s daughters come bouncing into her classroom after school to share their excitement about learning to count money, Amy comes up with a fun idea for the two of them. She asks her sister, Tracy, to retrieve their great-grandfather’s coin jar from Grandma Pearl’s attic so the girls can count to their hearts’ content. Everyone is surprised when Jana and Natalie find an unfamiliar coin at the bottom of the jar. A closer look reveals that it’s a participation medal from the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis. The sisters wonder if it’s possible their great-grandfather, Nicholas Wallace, participated in the Olympics 120 years ago. But if he did, it’s strange they’ve never heard about it.

Meanwhile, Amy and her new husband, Miles, receive a belated wedding gift, delivered to their front porch. When they open it, they’re surprised to see a beautiful antique set of Waterford crystal goblets. However, there is no card attached. Who could have sent the gift? And why would the giver keep their identity a secret?
