2013 Christy Award Nominees

Home » Reading » 2013 Christy Award Nominees

In: Reading, Uncategorized, Writing on: April 22, 2013

I  love it when the Christy Award nominees are released! I used to love it because it alerted me to books I should put on my to read list. (And I do still love it for that reason!) But for several years now I’ve had the added joy of seeing friends’ names appear on the prestigious list. (Of course I hate it when they are in the same categories with each other!) So here are the 2013 nominees. As usual, it has some great titles and authors–some I’ve read and some to go on my to read list.

I was excited this week to see the names also.. some of my faves are there that I’ve read, but some of the others I haven’t read yet so I can’t judge =)
However, I am especially pleased to see Musser’s there, as that series was so fantastic and very emotive for me. That series will always hold a special place in my heart, and when I was reviewing the first two for the Historical Novel Society it was chosen as an Editor’s Choice, so that was even better!!

Musser’s is one of the ones on that list I haven’t yet read. Guess I need to get to it then! Thanks for the recommendation!

Isn’t it fun to see fellow writers who get nominated? It’s always the best of the best list for me. I know I can never read them all, but I have read several on this list and they are winners!
