Mark Your Calendars for Some Online Fun!

In: Reading, Uncategorized, Writing on: October 9, 2013

Two fun things for you to put on your calendar–and they are both online!

Book Banter

facebookThis Friday, October 11, from 11-1 central time, I’ll be chatting LIVE with readers on the Bethany House facebook page. If you’ve never “attended” one of these live online events, they can be a little daunting, but very fun, too. I’ll answer your questions and post fun facts and pictures and there will even be giveaways of A Home for My Heart involved. I’d love for you to mark your calendar and drop in, even if you only have time to say hi!

Fall Christian Fiction Scavenger Hunt

This is so much fun! 25 blogs to visit, each with different content from a different author, all with new or soon-to-be-released novels. There is a grand prize of an iPad and two prizes that include a copy of all 25 books featured in the hunt! And to top it off, there are some individual site prize surprises, too! All you need is the internet and a piece of paper to jot down the clues from each post. Mark your calendars so you don’t miss this. The Scavenger Hunt runs from Friday, Oct. 18 at noon mountain time through Sunday, Oct. 20 at midnight mountain time. Come join in the fun and meet some new-to-you authors in the process! Here’s a little preview of some of the titles and authors involved:

I’ll try to get to the book banter! I work during the morning, but over my lunch I should hopefully be able to stop by. FUN!

"The Work of His Hands: a novelette”

Bea wants nothing more than to go to college and learn more about the world God created. Her mother even left money in trust for her to do so. She only wishes her father supported her dream. But when Papa gets into financial trouble in the young town of Fort Worth, Texas, Bea must decide what is more important—her education or her father's well-being. Can she trust the God of creation to make something beautiful of her life?”

Along with the story you’ll receive my newsletter updates as well.
