Last year I began an editing relationship with a writer I met years ago. Lacy Williams was traditionally published then later turned totally indie. If you enjoy Western romance—whether historical or contemporary, you should check out her books! Here are some of my favorites:
Marrying Miss Marshal
This was the first Lacy Williams book I ever read—and I loved it! A historical romance with a female town marshal. It is now the first book in her Wind River Hearts series.
Once Upon a Cowboy
This is a contemporary romance—and a royal one at that! A cowboy and a princess. I read this one not long ago—after I’d edited the last book in the Cowboy Fairytales series, a story of these same two characters later in life.
A Trail So Lonesome, Trail of Secrets
These are the first two books in her new series called Wagon Train Matches—and truly, they have both been great stories. In fact, I really admire the way she can take a wagon train journey and make such different stories for all the couples! It really is a great series. Quick reads full of romance and adventure. And of course, since they are all on the same wagon train, we get to continue to see some of the characters from the other books as we move forward. I’m currently working through book three, A Train Untamed, which releases October 10!
And did I mention the price of these books? The most expensive Kindle version is $3.99! Many are also in Kindle Unlimited, so you can read them for free if you have that membership.
Read one of Lacy’s books and let me know what you think!
