A Very Formal Weekend

Home » Family » A Very Formal Weekend

In: Family, Uncategorized on: April 30, 2012

This past weekend was very formal for our family. Saturday, our youngest took his girlfriend to prom.

Of course, I only have the few pictures of them that were texted to me. Yes, I missed the prom. But it was because we were eight hours away at our daughter’s Phi Mu formal. It was such fun to meet her friends, help her and her roommate secure an off-campus apartment, and watch her win the Outstanding Active award for her chapter. (She’s the one holding the plaque.)

While we were all dressed up and out on the town, I suspect our middle child was happy as a clam hanging around the dorm in a t-shirt and basketball shorts! We all had a great weekend, and I’m so glad we went to be with our daughter for that banquet. But if I could have, I would have loved to have been in two places at once!

What fun! I love dressing up, and I love seeing my kids dressed up. You must’ve had a great time. And congratulations to your daughter. 🙂

I love seeing my kids dressed up, too. It doesn’t happen often enough!

Can she trust the God of creation to make something beautiful of her life?”
