On the years when we have all our kids on Thanksgiving, we also celebrate Christmas. This tradition began because several of us are gift-givers by nature and we didn’t want to miss out on the joy of being with people as they open their presents.
This year, instead of doing Christmas on one of the Thanksgiving weekend days, we actually did Christmas on Thanksgiving morning, before loading up to do Thanksgiving with all of my family at my sister’s house.
