I don’t often highlight in novels. Usually when I do it is either something uniquely and beautifully written or a very profound truth I want to think on further. I read The Sky Beneath My Feet last May. Like all of Lisa Samson’s books, this one is rich with truth. But this particular line has stuck with me, mostly, I think, because even before I read it stated this way, I’d come to learn it in life.
