wedding

Twenty-five years ago today, we said “I do.”

It hasn’t always been easy, but I love who we’ve become, by the amazing grace of God.

Congrats, my friend! What a milestone, especially these days. You and Jeff look like babies in your wedding photo. I’m not sure I want to know how old you were(n’t) when you got married. 🙂

Yes, we were babies. 🙂 But how fun to have all that history together now!

Congratulations! Thank you for posting this picture. I love looking at wedding pictures. You should do a write-up of your story for Shannon Taylor Vannatter’s site. That would be neat to hear.

Hey Sylvia! Thanks for stopping by. I love seeing other people’s wedding pictures, too. I actually told part of our story on Shannon’s blog last fall. Here are the links if you want to read them! 🙂

I just went and read your story on Shannon’s page. That was good! You should consider doing a novel set in Washington, D.C.

I’ve considered it before. Maybe someday. D.C. is definitely a special place to us! 🙂

Thanks, Laura! I got a minute to read your post on Casey’s blog. Loved your real life romance. 🙂 Yes, the Lord puts us together so much better than we would if left to ourselves, doesn’t He?

"The Work of His Hands: a novelette”

Bea wants nothing more than to go to college and learn more about the world God created. Her mother even left money in trust for her to do so. She only wishes her father supported her dream. But when Papa gets into financial trouble in the young town of Fort Worth, Texas, Bea must decide what is more important—her education or her father's well-being. Can she trust the God of creation to make something beautiful of her life?”
