Have you ever noticed this in the account of Noah?
Genesis 6:20-21 — Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.
God had His part–bringing the animals to Noah–and Noah had his part–to gather and store all the food. It is very rarely either all His or all mine. As the entire book of Ecclesiastes tell us, the whole point of our life here is to do well the work the Lord has given us to do and to be content in that. In so doing, we leave to Him that part that is not ours to carry.
I see this principal at work constantly in my life. What about you? Are you letting the Lord do what He has said He would do (that think you cannot do)? Are you working to accomplish the tasks He has put in front of you (the things you can do)? Which part is hardest for you?

I’m playing catch-up today so I’m just seeing this post, but I know that’s no coincidence. I needed this reminder today! I so often lose sight of what’s mine to do and what’s HIS to do. Thanks for the reminder, sweet friend. I’m praying for you today!

Love how God gives us the word we need, when we need it! Praying for you today, too, dear friend!
