If you’ve seen my on social media lately, you know that we got great news on Friday: our daughter was accepted into the master’s program she really wanted but assumed was far above her reach. When I got the news, I cried. In the middle of Costco. It was the best Mother’s Day gift and it came from the best giver–the Lord. Truly, the gift He gave my child was the best gift He could give to me. She has patiently waited on Him to provide her next steps and was fully surrendered to whatever His plan. To see her maturity then watch God bless her inspires me to sing to the Lord, praise His name, proclaim His salvation day after day. It inspires me to declare His glory among the nation, and His marvelous deeds among all the peoples.
