I Scream for Ice Cream!

Home » Uncategorized » I Scream for Ice Cream!

In: Uncategorized on: June 14, 2012

I thought not having our chef daughter home for the summer meant no culinary temptations to expand the waistline I’ve worked so hard to shrink. Little did I know my oldest son would became the ice cream wizard at our house!

ice cream makerWe have loved our little ice cream maker since the kids gave it to us a couple of years ago. We’ve used it a lot, but this summer it as been going almost non-stop under our college son’s supervision. He’s made us vanilla ice cream, cookies and cream ice cream, and cookie dough ice cream so far. I have no idea what’s in store for us next, I only know that every time he makes it, it comes out perfect.

PER-FECT!

And so I indulge. Small scoops, to be sure, but ones that still require me to put more effort into gym time these days. A small price to pay for ice cream this good.

Ok, you caught me at a weak moment with this… I just ordered one for the MT house. Summer fun in the mountains! If it works well, I am thinking a good Christmas present for Caitlin to use in her apartment, she is a real ice cream fan.

Lol! I love that it is so easy to use and doesn’t make too much at one time! We’ve tried frozen yogurt and lower fat versions in it, too, which are fine, but nothing beats the real stuff. Aaron only makes the real stuff! Enjoy! 🙂
